National Blue-Ribbon Awards Workshop: November 2022

Dr. Jean Kendall was invited to present a workshop on Continuing to Grow Your Leadership for the 2022 teachers and administrators who earned the National Blue-Ribbon Awards for their schools.

With colleague, Marianne O’Donnell, Dr. Kendall led approximately 225 awardees in an interactive workshop which took place on Thursday, November 3, in Washington, DC.

Real-life scenarios and quotations from relevant authors led participants in discussion of topics such as: Positive Learning Community, Social-Emotional Needs of Teachers and Staff, and more. This session was based upon the book, Growing Your Leadership by Kendall and co-author O’Donnell.

As a principal for many years, Dr. Kendall had received the 2014 and 1993 Blue-Ribbon Award.

Blue-Ribbon Awardees’ feedback was very positive for this workshop.
