This book invites the reader to reflect on all aspects of leadership to be able to plan and think ahead of situations that arise in leadership positions. Through questions and reflections, proactive pathways can be developed. By understanding your core beliefs, the reader will discover the “why I do this work” and the “how.” Scenarios, questions, discussion, and journals are suggested to make the journey authentic. Some of the questions are: What is your idea of leadership? Will people grow because of your leadership? Do you see the big picture? Is your focus on the most important aspects of the work, in the case of educational leadership – on teaching and learning?
